Fabio Gallo

General Manager Europe and Asia at ViewLift

Fabio Gallo has extensive experience in the media, entertainment, and technology industries. Fabio currently serves as the General Manager for Europe and Asia at ViewLift, a technology-driven Over-The-Top (OTT) media company. In this role, they oversee OTT platform development, content management, distribution, and monetization, helping clients launch successful OTT video services.

Prior to their current role, Gallo was the Head of Product at LaLiga Tech, where they managed the Product and UX Teams across seven verticals, including digital ecosystem, OTT, web and apps, content protection, smart venues, gaming, and data tracking. Fabio was responsible for the company's product portfolios and created a solid product strategy throughout the organization.

Before LaLiga Tech, Gallo held the position of Vice President of Sales EMEA, APAC, and LatAm at ViewLift, where they focused on expanding the company's business in European, Asian, and Latin American markets in the OTT industry. Fabio developed a clear vision and strategy for revenue-generating activities, including sales, marketing, and business development.

Gallo also has experience as the Director of Global Business Development at deltatre, where they evaluated and explored strategic partnership opportunities for the company's business expansion in the B2B sports industry. Fabio fostered and developed C-level relationships with strategic clients.

Additionally, Gallo served as the Head of International Business Development EMEA at StreamAMG, where they were responsible for international growth in the sports area across key geographic regions. Fabio sourced, negotiated, and closed deals across various businesses, contributed to product development and strategic business direction, and launched new video sport strategies.

At FC Barcelona, Gallo held the position of Head of Digital Business Development, where they developed new channel strategies for mobile and web, handled digital partnership across Europe, America, and APAC, and negotiated licensing contracts for mobile games and videos. Fabio also established and managed relationships with third-party providers/clients.

Gallo's earlier experiences include serving as the City CEO of Groupon Spain, President of Grupo Stagelimit, Digital Business Development Manager at Dorna Sports, and pursuing an International MBA at EADA.

Fabio Gallo has a diverse educational background. Fabio earned a Master of Science degree in Sales and Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2010. During this program, they focused on Sales and Marketing Hacking through executive education. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from EAE Business School from 2009 to 2010, specializing in Coaching and HR. In 2006 to 2007, they pursued an International MBA at EADA Business School. Fabio Gallo completed their undergraduate education at Università degli Studi di Brescia from 1999 to 2004, majoring in Economics in the Faculty of Economy. Fabio also spent one year, in 2002 to 2003, studying Economics with a focus on Business at Universidad de Oviedo.
