Ashley McCarthy has been in the recruitment industry for over 8 years. In 2013, they began their career as a Community Health Educator-Team Lead at Humana. Ashley then joined Mercy Health in 2015, where they held three roles: Executive Recruiter, Physician Recruiter-Administration, and Recruiter-Operational and Clinical Talent. In 2019, Ashley moved to Aspen Dental as a Strategic Talent Sourcer and Talent Acquisition Manager-Physician/Dentist Recruiter. Later that year, they joined Bon Secours Mercy Health as an Executive Recruiter-Talent Acquisition-Recruitment. In 2021, Ashley was hired by UC Health as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner-Manager of Leadership Recruitment. Currently, Ashley is a Sr. Manager of Recruitment at Vigilant, where they use creative and out-of-the-box recruitment methods and sourcing strategies to search nationwide for top-notch IT and cyber talent.

Ashley McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology from Bowling Green State University. Ashley has also completed courses from Linkedin Learning in Remote Work Foundations, Diversity Recruiting, and Diversity and Inclusion in a Global Enterprise.
