Matthew R.

Matthew R. has a solid work experience in project planning and controls. Matthew has held various roles in different companies. Starting with IES, Inc where they worked as a Project Manager from June 2003 to July 2005. Matthew then joined Project Planning, Inc as an EVMS Consultant from July 2005 to December 2006. Matthew then moved to L3 Technologies - Communication Systems-East where they served as a Senior Program Planner from December 2006 to August 2010, and later as a Program Planning and Controls Manager from August 2010 to June 2019. Matthew then joined L3Harris Technologies as a Program Planning and Controls Manager from July 2019 to September 2019. Currently, they are the Director of Project Controls at Vigor, LLC starting from September 2019 until the present.

From 1999 to 2003, Matthew attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Studies and Resource Economics.

In 2008, Matthew enrolled at Rutgers University - Camden for their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting and Management. Matthew completed this program in 2011.

In 2013, Matthew pursued additional education at Villanova University, where they obtained a Continuing Education certificate in Financial Decision Making. Matthew also attended Penn State Great Valley in the same year for a Continuing Education program in Agile Estimating and Planning.

Matthew's education continued in 2016 at Drexel University, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Management. Matthew completed this program in 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Matthew has acquired several certifications. In 2009, they earned a Lean & Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Lockheed Martin. In 2012, Matthew obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Matthew also became a Sarbanes Oxley Trained Professional in 2017 through the Management and Strategy Institute. In 2019, Matthew earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) certification from L3 Technologies. The most recent certification they obtained is the Deltek Cobra Certification from Deltek in June 2020.
