Matthew Longtin

Matthew Longtin has a diverse work experience. In 2023, they worked as a Chemical Engineer at Viken Detection. Prior to that, in 2022, they served as a Software Intern at Northwoods Software Corporation. In this role, they contributed to the porting of sample apps from JavaScript to C# and improved algorithms for GoJS. Before that, in 2021, they had another software internship at the same company, where they played a role in porting sample apps and enhancing algorithms. In 2020, Matthew worked as a Researcher at The Summer Science Program. Here, they focused on astrophysics research at the University of Colorado, Boulder, specifically tracking and calculating the orbit of a near-Earth asteroid. Matthew even published a research report on the nature of the asteroid.

Matthew Longtin completed their high school education at Hollis-Brookline High School from 2018 to 2021, earning a High School Diploma. Matthew is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering and Physics at Northeastern University, which is expected to be completed from 2021 to 2025.
