Jorn Henriksen

Jorn Henriksen is an experienced professional in the expedition and cruise operations sector, currently serving as the Director of Expedition Operations at Viking Cruises since January 2019. Prior roles include Head of Polar Operations and Environment and Product Manager Explorer at Hurtigruten from January 2015 to January 2019. Jorn's expertise was further recognized through membership on the Executive Committee of the International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators and as Chair of the Executive Committee for the Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators from October 2014 to October 2018. Previous positions at Hurtigruten encompassed Environmental Manager and Operations Manager for Explorer Cruises, alongside significant roles as an Expedition Leader for various organizations. Jorn co-authored the Cruise Handbook for Svalbard during tenure at the Norwegian Polar Institute. Education includes studies at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences from 2000 to 2001.
