Matt Grimes

Matt Grimes has extensive experience in the cruise industry, serving in various leadership roles since 2000. Currently, Grimes is the Senior Vice President of Fleet Operations at Viking Cruises, a position held since March 2012, after advancing from Vice President of Maritime Operations and Executive Director of Itinerary Development, Nautical & Technical Operations. Prior to joining Viking Cruises, Grimes was the Director of Planning, Ports & Logistics at Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines Limited from June 2007 to April 2012, and held roles at Swan Hellenic Cruises, Carnival Australia, and P&O Cruises. Grimes holds a degree in Business Studies and Marketing from the University of Brighton, earned between 1997 and 2000.
