Paul Fisher

Paul Fisher has extensive work experience in the field of bioengineering.

Paul started their career as a research associate at Alere, Inc. in November 2009 and worked there until August 2010.

Following that, they joined the University of Kentucky as a graduate research assistant in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Paul worked there from August 2010 to December 2014. Paul'sresearch focused on biomaterials and drug delivery, particularly in the development of a biodegradable drug delivery scaffold for orthopedic applications.

In 2015, Paul co-founded Viking Scientific, Inc. and assumed the role of Chief Scientific Officer.

In the same year, they also joined INOVIO Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a bioengineering scientist. Throughout their tenure at INOVIO, they have held various positions including Senior Bioengineering Scientist, Associate Director of Bioengineering, and currently serves as the Director of Bioengineering since March 2022.

Paul Fisher received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine, which they attended from 2005 to 2009. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the University of Kentucky, where they obtained their PhD in Biomedical Engineering from 2010 to 2014.
