Claire Janssens

Claire Janssens is a qualified specialist in clinical activities in speech therapy, currently employed at Hôpital de réadaptation Villa Medica since October 2022, focusing on communication skills for patients in intensive rehabilitation after strokes. Previously, Claire worked as an adult neurology speech therapist at Centre Hospitalier Neurologique William Lennox, where responsibilities included screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating communication disorders related to acquired brain injuries. Other experience includes various roles in different healthcare settings, providing evaluations and therapeutic interventions for aphasia, dysphagia, and communication disorders, as well as teaching voice improvement exercises to undergraduate students. Claire holds two master's degrees in speech therapy from Université catholique de Louvain and Université libre de Bruxelles, as well as a bachelor's degree from Institut Libre Marie Haps and an Erasmus degree from the University of Malta.
