Ross Busch

As Partnerships Associate at Village Capital, Ross focuses on supporting the partnerships team with data-centric strategies to expand partnerships and support entrepreneurs solving the world’s biggest challenges.

He’s particularly passionate about expanding resources and support for traditionally under-served and overlooked seed-stage companies and their founders.

Ross joined Village Capital from Presence, where he was an Account Executive for a startup team building digital tools to help colleges and universities support students’ co-curricular development. As part of a successful acquisition by Modern Campus, Ross brings personal startup experience and a deep understanding of the challenges growing companies face.

Before Modern Campus, Ross worked in a variety of roles across the nonprofit sector, international education and cultural exchange, as well as higher ed. He’s participated in various research projects across Fiji, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Scotland, and speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Ross is a graduate of Eckerd College, an alumnus of Fulbright Taiwan, and completed his master’s degree at the University of Glasgow.
