Barry Kurcz

Barry Kurcz has extensive work experience in human resources management. Barry has served as the Human Resources Director for the Village of Hanover Park since 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Human Resources and Business Services at the Mount Prospect Park District from 2013 to 2017. Barry has also worked as the HR Director for the City of Waukegan from 2009 to 2013 and for the Village of Glenview from 2006 to 2009. Before transitioning to the public sector, they worked as an HR Manager for Deluxe Corporation from 1998 to 2006 and as an HR Director for Bethany Methodist Corporation from 1990 to 1998.

Barry Kurcz obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago. Barry pursued further studies and successfully completed an MBA with a specialization in Human Resources from Dominican University, during the period from 1990 to 1994.
