Sarosh Saher

Sarosh Saher, AICP has a strong background in community development and planning. Their most recent position was as the Community Development Director for the Village of Lake Zurich, Illinois, where they were responsible for managing the activities of the Community Development Department. Prior to that, they worked for the City of Elgin as a Senior Planner and later as an Urban Design & Preservation Specialist. They also have experience working for the Ohio Historic Preservation Office as a Technical Preservation Services Manager and for the City of Columbus - German Village Commission as an Assistant and Intern to the Commission. Throughout their career, Saher has demonstrated expertise in areas such as land use planning, zoning administration, historic preservation, and grant administration.

Sarosh Saher, AICP has a strong educational background in the field of city planning and architecture. Sarosh obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Manipal Institute of Technology, specializing in Architecture and Design. This academic journey spanned from 1985 to 1990.

Building upon this foundation, Sarosh pursued a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from The Ohio State University, focusing on City and Regional Planning as well as Historic Preservation. This program took place from 1991 to 1993, further enhancing their expertise in urban development.
