Michael Pedram

Michael Pedram, CMA, serves as the Controller at Villagio Hospitality Group since February 2023, where oversight includes a diverse portfolio encompassing restaurants, a brewery, a distillery, a hotel, commissary operations, catering services, and real estate. Notably, Michael implemented efficient accounting policies that significantly reduced the financial closing process from three months to three days. Prior experience includes serving as Controller for Matchbox Restaurants at Thompson Hospitality from August 2020 to January 2023 and holding various positions at Matchbox Food Group from August 2014 to January 2023, overseeing multiple entities with considerable annual revenue. Earlier roles include Financial Services Manager at MEBS Global, Accountant for various automotive retail groups, and Copyright Infringement Analyst at the Recording Industry Association of America. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in International Commerce & Policy from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from James Madison University.
