Tej Patel

Tej Patel serves as the VP and CIO of Information Technology at Villanova University since September 2024, following a similar role at Stevens Institute of Technology from August 2020 to September 2024. Previously, Tej Patel was the Penn Nursing CIO at the University of Pennsylvania, where responsibilities included managing IT infrastructure, web development, security, and application development, in addition to overseeing IT systems operations. Tej Patel has also held positions at Kean University as Managing Assistant Director and at ISC, University of Pennsylvania as a Senior IT Specialist, gaining extensive experience in financial aid systems and classroom technology services. Tej Patel holds a degree in Management Information Systems and Business Administration from Montclair State University and completed the Wharton Executive Global C-Suite Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
