Hugo Monette

Hugo Monette, ing., MBA, has been serving as the Chef de service du Génie des eaux at Ville de Longueuil since November 2009, leading a multidisciplinary team on major water treatment projects with a budget of approximately $100M. Previous roles include Chef de division de l'ingénierie industrielle and Chargé de projet at Canada Strategic Metals from March 2013 to 2017, and Génie-conseil at VTEK CONSULTANTS INC. from February 2004 to December 2009, where Hugo also served as President of the audit committee. Education includes an MBA from Université de Sherbrooke, specialized training in management and leadership, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, among various certifications related to water treatment, construction law, and effective negotiation.
