Samuel Arsenault-Brassard

Samuel Arsenault-Brassard has a diverse work experience with a focus on virtual reality, augmented reality, and immersive technologies. Samuel started their career as a Designer at Phram Furniture, where they assisted with woodworking and furniture projects. Samuel then worked as a BIM Specialist at Civitas Architecture Inc., specializing in Building Information Modeling. Following this, they joined Jackpine as a Designer, where they worked on architectural, lighting, signage, and theatrical design projects while also developing technological strategies for new media and holographic performance.

In 2016, Arsenault-Brassard became a BIM & Immersive Technology Specialist at InsiteVR, where they utilized their expertise in BIM and immersive technologies to enhance the design and construction process. Samuel then briefly worked as a Revit Lighting Instructor at EDP before joining Rubin and Rotman Architects as a BIM Manager. In this role, they were responsible for BIM production, employee training, quality assurance, and research and development in virtual reality, augmented reality, automation, and advanced workflows.

In 2018, Arsenault-Brassard joined Provencher Roy as a BIM Coordinator, further expanding their expertise in BIM and coordination processes. Simultaneously, they began working at ELLEPHANT as an Artist & Co-Curator, specializing in virtual reality and augmented reality art. Currently, they are working as a Product Owner at VIM, utilizing their experience and knowledge to manage and oversee product development.

In addition to their work experience, Arsenault-Brassard has also curated VR/AR art exhibitions at Art Mür. Overall, they have a strong background in BIM coordination, immersive technologies, and artistic design, making him a valuable asset in the field of virtual reality and augmented reality.

From 2012 to 2016, they attended Carleton University and obtained a degree in Architectural Studies with a focus on Design.

Prior to that, from 2006 to 2010, Samuel attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. There, they earned a degree in Architectural Technology, specializing in Architectural Technology/Technician.

Earlier, in 2003 to 2004, they attended La Cite Collégiale and obtained a degree in Technologie de l'architecture, also focusing on Architectural Technology/Technician.
