Marcela Watt Vilaxa's work experience is as follows:
- Marcela started their most recent position as the Head of Marketing and Digital Communication for Concha y Toro and Luxury Brands at Viña Concha y Toro in March 2020. In this role, they led the digital area of Concha y Toro and the Luxury Brands Division, managing strategies and the various digital channels, including e-commerce. Marcela also provided digital advisory services for global markets and developed new projects.
- Before that, Marcela worked as a Luxury Hotels Marketing Consultant from January 2019. Marcela generated brand strategies for luxury hotels and managed their digital marketing and communications. Marcela also conducted brand assessments and provided training and workshops for companies.
- Marcela was a Rapporteur for the E-commerce program "Digitalize your SME" of the Ministry of Economy, Development, and Tourism of Chile from October 2019 to March 2020. Marcela collaborated with CORFO and Sercotec to support medium-sized companies in their e-commerce initiatives.
- From July 2016 to December 2018, Marcela served as the Head of Marketing and Communications at The Singular Hotels. Marcela boosted the positioning of the luxury brand, managed marketing strategies, and developed new communication and visual image approaches.
- Marcela worked as a Social Media and Digital Manager at INACAP from March 2015 to February 2016. Marcela managed national digital campaigns, implemented communication initiatives, and analyzed marketing performance indicators.
- From August 2014 to February 2015, Marcela was the Commercial Director at Cardumen Latam. Marcela generated business opportunities, managed client relationships, and developed digital marketing projects for various clients.
- Marcela also worked as an Area Manager and Account Coordinator at Cardumen Latam from July 2013 to July 2014. In this role, they developed digital marketing strategies, managed client relationships, and coordinated accounts.
- Marcela started their career as the Digital Content Director at DOCMAC from January 2012 to December 2012. Marcela led the web strategy for fashion clients, managing content, brand positioning, and proposing innovations.
Marcela Watt Vilaxa attended Universidad de Chile from 2004 to 2009, where they completed a degree in Journalism. In 2021, they also obtained a Level 2 Qualification in Viticulture and Enology from The Wine School.
