Dr. Michael Schwandt

Dr. Michael Schwandt has had an extensive and diverse work experience in various sectors. Dr. Michael started their career in 2001 as a Freelancer at BDO Certified Accountants and Tax Advisors. Dr. Michael then joined Bilfinger SE in 2004, where they held multiple managerial positions, including Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Bilfinger Industrial Technologies Hungary Kft and Bilfinger Construction Hungaria Kft. Dr. Michael also served as a Commercial Project Director at Bilfinger Baugesellschaft Wien GmbH. In 2018, Dr. Schwandt worked as the Chief Financial Officer and Board Member for Finance at Kabel Premium Pulp & Paper GmbH, before moving on to become the Head of Finance & Controlling at Possehl Spezialbau GmbH in 2019. Currently, they are the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Vinci Construction, overseeing the operations of various subsidiaries, including Vinci Construction GeoInfrastructure Deutschland GmbH and Vinci Construction Terrassement Deutschland GmbH.

Dr. Michael Schwandt obtained a School-leaving examination qualifying for university admission in Berlin in 1997. From 1999 to 2004, they pursued Business Management studies at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences (Corvinus) and obtained a Diplomkaufmann degree. From 2010 to 2015, Dr. Schwandt pursued their Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Miskolc, Hungary.
