Ari-Pekka Viitanen

Ari-Pekka Viitanen has extensive experience in the software development field. Ari-Pekka started their career as a Trainee at Nokia in June 2004 and worked there until December 2005. After that, they continued to work at Nokia in various roles, including Design Engineer and Senior SW Design Engineer, from January 2006 to February 2009.

In February 2009, Ari-Pekka joined Adalia Oy as a Software Architect. In this role, they were responsible for leading the development of a highly scalable on-the-cloud video streaming platform. Ari-Pekka'stasks included architectural design and implementation of server-side components and client-side software for video encoding and broadcasting. Ari-Pekka also worked on mobile software development for iOS and Android. Ari-Pekka remained with Adalia Oy until August 2012.

From August 2012 onwards, Ari-Pekka has been working at Vincit. Ari-Pekka initially worked as a Passionate Software Architect until July 2017. Following that, they took on the role of a Passionate Lead Developer until July 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Tech Director at Vincit.

Throughout their career, Ari-Pekka has gained expertise in various areas, including software architecture, development, and design engineering.

Ari-Pekka Viitanen obtained their M.Sc in Software Engineering from the Tampere University of Technology from the year 2000 to 2009.
