Juha Kolari

UX Designer at Vincit

Juha Kolari has a diverse work experience in various roles related to design and marketing. Juha started their career as a Web Designer at the University of Tampere in 1998. Later, they worked as a Research Assistant at Tampere University of Technology/Digital Media Institute, where they designed and executed a field usability evaluation project.

In 1999, Juha joined VTT as a Researcher and stayed with the company until 2005. During this time, they gained expertise in B2B marketing and UX design.

From 2005 to 2007, Juha served as a Concept Designer at Satama Interactive Oyj, focusing on user interface design for on-device marketing applications. Juha also scripted and storyboarded animated tutorials and marketing videos.

Juha then moved on to Trainers' House, where they worked as a Concept Designer from 2008 to 2010. Juha'sresponsibilities included distilling communication needs into a core message and planning digital channels for spreading the message. Juha also worked on campaign concepts, wireframe design, and copywriting.

In 2011, Juha joined Mediayhtiö Bermuda Oy as a Concept Designer, where they made significant contributions to concept and user interface design for web, smartphones, tablets, and web applications. Juha also formulated marketing messages and designed concepts for relevant channels, such as web, video, and social media.

Currently, Juha works as a UX Designer at Vincit, a position they have held since 2015.

Juha Kolari completed their education at the University of Tampere from 1993 to 1999, where they obtained a Master's degree in Psychology. During their time at the university, they studied various subjects including Psychology, Art history, Sociology, Statistics, and Audiovisual Culture. Before attending the university, they also graduated from Tampereen klassillinen lukio from 1987 to 1990, obtaining a diploma known as "YO." However, the field of study for this diploma is not specified.
