Kevin Rossi

Kevin Rossi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kevin currently holds the role of Senior Data Scientist at Vinli Inc since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Quanterra Capital Management L.P. from August 2021 to May 2022.

Kevin also has extensive experience in data science, having worked as a Data Scientist at Digital Assets Data Inc. from July 2019 to February 2020. In this role, they were responsible for architecting and implementing stream/batch processing of crypto market data, building complex streaming analytics, and performing statistical and graph analysis of blockchain transactions.

Before transitioning into data science, Kevin worked as a Computer Scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from October 2014 to September 2017. Kevin also served as a Network Security Researcher at Praxis Engineering from June 2012 to February 2014 and as a Security Engineer at Information Security Solutions LLC from October 2010 to June 2012.

Kevin began their career in the US Air Force, where they held multiple roles from August 2000 to July 2009. These roles include Analysis and Production Senior Mission Manager, Digital Network Intelligence Analyst, and Cryptologic Language Analyst, Training Manager, and Project Manager.

Kevin Rossi completed their education in a sequential manner. In 2000, they enrolled in the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA, where they pursued an AA degree in Spanish, which they successfully completed in 2009. Following this, from 2004 to 2010, Rossi attended Park University, where they earned a BS degree in Computer Science. After a short break from academic endeavors, they resumed their education in 2013 at The Johns Hopkins University. There, they pursued and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from 2013 to 2016. Most recently, in 2020 and 2021, Rossi attended the University of Denver and obtained a Master of Science in Applied Quantitative Finance, focusing their studies on Finance, General.
