Shawn Casey

Shawn Casey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shawn started their career as a Software Engineer at Acxiom, where they developed programs for data conversion and cleanup. Shawn then joined Intel as a Senior Software Engineer and Architect, specializing in C/C++ and micro-architectural optimizations for next-generation processors. At THQ, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on performance optimization and developing innovative systems for game engines and schedulers. Shawn later joined Samsung Electronics America as an Independent Contractor, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer.

Shawn co-founded ProCreative Golf and worked as the CTO and sole developer for the company, creating a range-finding scorecard and stat tracking application for iOS. Shawn then transitioned to a role at id Software, working as a Senior Programmer and contributing to the development of games such as RAGE and DOOM.

Shawn's career then led him to Zynga, where they served as a Principal Software Engineer and worked on the Matching with Friends game. Shawn also worked at Yvolver, Inc. which was acquired and rebranded to AdColony, and took on the role of a Principal Software Engineer. Later, they joined AdColony as a Principal Software Engineer II, where they developed iOS SDKs, supported Unity plugins, and worked with various open source mediation adapters.

Shawn'smost recent position is at Vinli Inc, where they serve as the Director of Mobile Development. In this role, they are responsible for architecting and leading the development of iOS applications and frameworks. Shawn has also played a crucial role in the development of technology for gathering driving telemetry data, resulting in significant cost savings.

Throughout their career, Shawn has utilized various technologies and programming languages such as Objective-C, Java, JavaScript, C#, Node, Cocos2D, and Unity. Shawn has extensive experience in all aspects of software development, including architecture, development, testing, support, maintenance, scripting, build tools, and continuous integration.

Shawn Casey attended Arkansas State University from 1991 to 1996, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
