Sean Roney has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sean began their career in 2002 as a Teen Court Coordinator/IT Manager for Routes for Youth Teen Court, where they served as a Diversion Counselor and Case Manager for at-risk teenage clients. Sean then worked as a Student Intern at the Prince George's County State's Attorney Office in 2007, where they conducted research, prepared legal documents, and made recommendations on plea agreements. In 2008, Sean worked as a Certified Law Clerk at the Santa Cruz County District Attorney's Office, where they researched and analyzed case law, prepared court documents, and argued motions before the court. Sean also gained experience as a Student Attorney at the Domestic Violence Clinic in 2008, where they represented clients seeking civil protection orders, conducted intake interviews, and prepared court pleadings.
