Christy King

Christy King serves as a Relief Veterinarian at Lighthouse Veterinary Personnel Services, LLC, since September 2021, and concurrently works as a Veterinary Microbiology Resident/PhD Candidate at The Ohio State University, focusing on clinical epidemiology and veterinary microbiology with interests in antimicrobial resistance, infection control, and antimicrobial stewardship. Christy has extensive veterinary experience, having worked as a veterinarian at VIP Petcare, Annehurst Veterinary Hospital, and Parkersburg Veterinary Hospital, and previously held positions as a Graduate Researcher and Transdisciplinary Health Policy Fellow at The Ohio State University. Educational credentials include a PhD candidate in Clinical Epidemiology & Veterinary Microbiology, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, and a Master of Public Health, all from The Ohio State University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
