Steve Simpson

Steve Simpson is an experienced engineering professional with a solid background in technical leadership and management across multiple sectors, primarily within the subsea controls and oil and gas industries. As the Chief Consulting Engineer at Viper Innovations Ltd since May 2014, Steve has served as the senior technical authority, providing expertise and guidance across various business areas. Previous roles include significant positions at GE Oil & Gas and ABB Offshore Systems, where Steve managed large engineering teams, led quality improvement initiatives, and contributed to product lifecycle management and R&D efforts. Educational qualifications include a BEng (Hons) in Electronics Engineering from the University of the West of England and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Management from Robert Gordon University.
