Matt Urmston

Matt Urmston has a diverse work history. Matt is currently the VP, Global Sales Engineers at VIPRE Security Group since February 2023. Prior to that, they were the EVP, Product Management at Arcserve from April 2022 to February 2023. From September 2020 to April 2022, they worked as the Sr. Director of Technical Sales at CloudCheckr. Matt also had an extensive career at StorageCraft Technology Corp., where they held multiple roles including Vice President Worldwide Sales Engineers, Sr. Director of Product Management, Director of Product Management, and Sr. Product Manager. Before joining StorageCraft, they worked as a Sales Engineer at StorageCraft Technology Corporation from November 2008 to July 2009. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Savail Consulting, Inc. from November 2005 to October 2008. Matt has also worked at Altiris as a Product Manager and Technical Marketing Manager, and at both Vinca and Legato Systems as a Product Manager.

Matt Urmston earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Brigham Young University–Hawaii in the years 1994 to 1997.
