Jessica Miller

Director, Research Project Management at Vir Biotechnology

Jessica Miller has a diverse background in the biotechnology and research field. Jessica is currently working as an Associate Director of Project Management at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. Prior to this role, they worked for Lampire Biological Laboratories for six years, first as a Technical Project Manager and later as the Director of Scientific Development. Jessica also gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Seattle Biomedical Research Institute, where they focused on the design and development of effective malaria vaccines. Jessica completed several projects examining the mechanisms of the malaria parasite and identifying potential drug targets. Jessica's earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Student at the University of Maryland, where they investigated virulence pathways in Mycobacterium tuberculosis to develop novel treatments for tuberculosis.

Jessica Miller received their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from Yale University in 2004. Jessica then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Maryland, completing their studies in 2009.
