Michael Ragone

Michael Ragone has over 25 years of work experience in various supply chain and consulting roles. Michael is currently the Senior Director of Supply Chain at Vir Biotechnology, Inc, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Supply Chain at Gilead Sciences from September 2020 to April 2021.

From 2017 to 2019, Ragone worked at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. as the Director of Supply Chain Planning, where they were responsible for supply chain planning, master data management, and artworks for clinical and commercial product launches. During their time there, they initiated a supply chain transformation project to optimize processes and improve data accuracy.

Ragone's earlier experience includes roles at Genentech as the Product Supply Chain Owner from 2014 to 2017, and at Roche as the Associate Director of Business Process Owner - Manage Logistics and Distribution from 2012 to 2014.

Prior to their roles in the pharmaceutical industry, Ragone worked at Oracle Corporation as a Senior Practice Director and at IBM - Business Consulting Services as an Associate Partner. Michael also held roles at Mattel and PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Associate Partner and Director of Consulting, respectively.

Throughout their career, Ragone has gained extensive expertise in supply chain management, process improvement, and consulting.

Michael Ragone attended Midpark from 1984 to 1987. Michael then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Production Management and International Business from The University of Akron from 1987 to 1992.
