Wendy Yeh

Senior Vice President, Clinical Development at Vir Biotechnology

Wendy Yeh has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Wendy is currently the Senior Vice President of Clinical Development at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. and previously held the role of Senior Vice President of Clinical Research at the same company. Before joining Vir Biotechnology, Inc., they worked as the Senior Director of Clinical Research at Principia Biopharma. Wendy Yeh also has extensive experience at Merck, where they served as the Director of Late Stage Clinical Development for Infectious Diseases and as the Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology/Experimental Medicine/Early Stage Clinical Development. Prior to their industry roles, they were a Clinical Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, where they also served as an Instructor of Medicine. Wendy worked as an Associate Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital and as a Staff Physician at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Wendy Yeh began their career as a Research Fellow in Viral Pathogenesis at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and completed their Clinical Fellowships in Infectious Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Wendy completed their Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Wendy Yeh was also a Cloister Fellow at the National Institutes of Health during their time at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

Wendy Yeh earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD, Honors) degree from the University of Washington - School of Medicine from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS, Honors) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Stanford University, from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, Wendy has obtained certifications as a Diplomate of Infectious Diseases from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2005, a Medical License from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in 2000, and a Diplomate of Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2003.
