Xiao Ding

Xiao Ding has extensive work experience in the field of biostatistics and biometrics. Xiao started their career as a Math Statistician at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in September 2008 and worked there until April 2012. In April 2012, they transitioned to Gilead Sciences, where they held various roles including Manager, Senior Manager, and Associate Director in the Biostatistics department. Xiao Ding joined Vir Biotechnology, Inc. in August 2017 as Senior Director of Statistics & Biometrics before being promoted to VP, Head of Biometrics in March 2020.

Xiao Ding completed a Ph.D in Biostatistics from Harvard University in the years 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2003, they obtained a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Science and Technology of China. Starting from 1996 to 2000, Xiao Ding pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Business Management, also at the University of Science and Technology of China.
