Yun Li

Yun Li has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and software development. They currently hold the position of Head of R&D IT at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of R&D Digital Technology in San Francisco at Pfizer from 2013 to 2020. Before joining Pfizer, Yun Li worked at Genentech as a Team Leader, Software Development from 2006 to 2013, where they led developer teams and managed projects to deliver informatics solutions. They also have previous experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Celera Genomics from 2002 to 2006.

Yun Li holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which was obtained from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, covering the period from 1997 to 1999. Yun completed their bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at Nanjing University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997.
