Samantha Russo is an experienced swimming coach and instructor with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Master Swimming Coach at Virgin Active Mayfair since May 2022 and a Swim Instructor at The American School in London since June 2021, Samantha's expertise includes coaching and managing swim teams. From September 2014, Samantha has been the Swim Coach and Team Manager for MACABBI G.B., and previously worked at Virgin Active from February 2010 in various roles, including Swim Manager. Notably, while at Hackney Aquatics Swimming Club from September 2014 to September 2021, Samantha successfully expanded the Masters squad from under 20 members to over 120 and led the team to national championships and various open water swim events. Earlier in their career, from February 2007 to August 2014, Samantha was the Lead Masters Coach and swimming teacher at Camden Swiss Cottage Swimming Club, where Samantha taught all levels of swimming from beginner to advanced. Samantha holds educational credentials from the Institute of Optimum Nutrition and UNISA in South Africa.
