Adrian Elkin

Adrian Elkin is a B1 Certifying Engineer at Virgin Atlantic since October 2006, responsible for conducting various maintenance checks, troubleshooting, and engine changes. Prior to this role, Adrian worked as an A Licence Certifying Technician at Lufthansa Technik, where responsibilities included A licence approvals for the A320 (CFM56) family. From September 1988 to October 2006, Adrian served as an A Licensed Technician at British Airways, gaining experience in line maintenance for long-haul models and earning a maintenance licence from the CAA. Adrian's early career began as a Technician Apprentice at Short Brothers Plc, focusing on basic skills training and on-job training in various production areas. Adrian’s education includes attendance at Belfast Royal Academy from 1982 to 1986.
