Shaun Sanderson

Shaun Sanderson is a skilled aerospace professional with extensive experience in airworthiness and aircraft structures. Currently serving as the Head of Airworthiness at Virgin Atlantic since May 2014, Shaun oversees airworthiness issues, modification projects, and reliability improvements, while also providing 24-hour support as a Senior Design & Development Engineer focused on aircraft structures. Previously, Shaun worked at Ryanair from March 2010 to May 2014 as a Structures Engineer in the Technical Services department, where responsibilities included designing structural repair solutions for a large fleet of 737NG aircraft. Shaun holds a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, completed in 2009.
