Race Strauss

Race Strauss has extensive experience in financial leadership roles within prominent companies across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Virgin Australia since January 2023, Race previously held the same title at The a2 Milk Company from January 2020 to January 2023. Prior positions include Chief Financial Officer at Qantas, where Race managed finances for both domestic and international operations, and Group CFO of Jetstar Airways, overseeing financial strategy across multiple regions. Race's earlier career at Unilever encompassed roles in M&A, finance, and regional management, including Vice President of Finance for South East Asia and Australasia. Race holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD Singapore, a Bachelor of Business with a double major from Griffith University, and completed an Executive MBA course at Harvard Business School, in addition to a course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
