Stephen Loch

Stephen Loch has extensive experience in audit and risk management, serving as General Manager of Audit & Risk at Virgin Australia since October 2009. In addition to this role, Stephen has led the International Group Strategy Project and served as Acting Chief Risk Officer. Stephen's earlier positions at Virgin Australia included General Manager and Head of Internal Audit, focusing on areas like credit card fraud prevention. Stephen is also Vice-Chair of the IATA Special Interest Group for Internal Auditors, contributing to the development of standards in the airline industry's internal audit practices. Previous roles include Senior Internal Auditor at Virgin Atlantic Airways and a Consultant at the Royal Borough of Greenwich, with a progressive career in various companies. Academic credentials were obtained from Downlands College, QUT, and the University of Southern Queensland.
