David Watkins

David qualified as a solicitor in 2011, having studied English at Loughborough University before completing his law degree at The College of Law.

Prior to joining Virgin Care in 2015, David trained at Oury Clark, a law firm based in London, before moving in-house to work at the London operation of HCA International, a large US private hospital company.

Since joining the organisation, David has worked on a wide variety of commercial and corporate matters, including many of the key contracts across the business. In his role as General Counsel David is responsible for the provision of legal services to the business, legal risk management, compliance with corporate governance and company secretarial requirements, as well as programme management throughout the organisation.
