Principal Engineer, Manufacturing - Vehicle Production at Virgin Galactic

Ken Rosen, PMP, serves as the Principal Engineer for Manufacturing - Vehicle Production at Virgin Galactic since December 2022, where responsibilities include leading Design for Manufacturing/Assembly and Lean Six Sigma methodologies for the Delta class Spaceship. In addition, Ken holds a position as a Professor at California State University, Long Beach from August 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Chief Manufacturing Engineer for Defense NPI at GKN Aerospace, where Ken directed the development of new Military platforms, and Program Manager positions at Safran and TECT Corporation, focusing on change management and project execution, respectively. Ken also served as MEQ Team Leader and Production Supervisor at GKN Aerospace, ensuring performance metrics were met. Educational qualifications include a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute India and advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
