Troy Wollman

Troy Wollman is a Senior Flight Test Engineer and Mission Control Engineer at Virgin Galactic, with a focus on airborne flight test engineering for the WhiteKnight2 Mothership "VMS Eve" and support for spaceships SS2 "Unity" and SS3 "Imagine." Responsibilities include writing flight test plans, developing training curriculum for digital flight control systems, and authoring flight manual updates. Previously, Troy served as a Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer II, where control laws design and evaluation was a key focus. Troy's earlier experience at the National Test Pilot School included roles as a Staff Flight Test Engineer and Graduate Assistant, providing flight test engineering support and contributing to training fleet instrumentation maintenance. Troy holds a Master’s degree in Flight Test Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, along with an Associate's degree in Mathematics.
