Elias Maalouf

Elias Maalouf has a strong background in the telecommunications industry, with a particular focus on technology and IT management. Elias began their career as a Software Engineer at Dataline Technology in 2004. Maalouf then moved on to Sohar Poultry Company S, where they served as the IT Manager from 2005-2008, overseeing network planning, ERP implementation, and domain maintenance. In 2008, Maalouf joined FRiENDi mobile as the IT Operations Manager, a position they held until 2010. During their time at FRiENDi mobile, they were responsible for managing the technical team and overseeing various infrastructure projects. In the same year, Maalouf also took on the role of Technical Director at FRiENDi mobile part of Virgin mobile Middle East and Africa. In this role, they had both managerial and technical responsibilities, including managing the technical team, designing and implementing network infrastructure, and procuring technical supplies and services. Most recently, Maalouf served as the Vice President of Technology at Virgin Mobile Middle East & Africa, leading digital transformation projects across the organization.

Elias Maalouf has a Masters in Business Administration from Strathclyde Business School, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Elias also has a Masters degree in Engineering from Lebanese University Branch II Faculty of Engineering. In addition, they have a Masters degree in Telecommunications/Computer from ULFG2, completed from 1999 to 2004. Elias has also earned Cisco certifications in networking, including CCNA in 2007 and BCMSN in 2010.
