Danny Cheong

Danny Cheong has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Danny is currently the VP of Engineering at Virgin Pulse, where they oversee the product development and general operations of the Melbourne team. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Product and Engineering at Virgin Pulse and was responsible for the full PDLC of the Global Challenge SaaS product.

Before their time at Virgin Pulse, Danny worked at ME Bank as the General Manager of Business Solutions. In this role, they were accountable for technical project management, business analysis, application development, and quality assurance. Danny also provided process and technical guidance to project teams and was responsible for managing a team of over 140 professionals.

Earlier in their career, Danny held positions at TAL Direct, InsuranceLine, Foxtel, and Accenture, where they gained experience in digital delivery, development management, and consultancy.

Overall, Danny Cheong has a strong background in engineering, product development, and agile methodologies, and has successfully managed teams and projects throughout their career.

Danny Cheong attended Haileybury College from 1988 to 1993, where they completed their VCE in 1993. Danny then went on to study at Monash University from 1994 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Economics and a Bachelor of Engineering degree with a major in Mechanical Engineering.
