Dr. Jodi Smith

Dr. Jodi Smith has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Dr. Jodi currently serves as the Director of Clinical Quality at Virgin Pulse. Prior to this, they held the same position at Welltok, Inc., where they created tailored solutions for clients and consumers by leveraging their clinical expertise and healthcare industry knowledge. At Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Smith worked as the Regional Administrator of Hospital Operations and Post-Acute Care, overseeing various programs to optimize care delivery and quality outcomes. Dr. Jodi also served as the Director of Hospital Operations, Specialty and Care Coordination, where they managed diverse populations and implemented cost-effective programs to maximize the care continuum. Additionally, Dr. Smith held multiple roles at Kaiser Permanente, including Development and Quality Manager for the Post Acute Care Transitions (PACT) program and Catastrophic Case Management/Continuing Care. Dr. Jodi started their career at UCHealth as the Intervention Clinical Lead for a randomized control trial for care transition intervention.

Dr. Jodi Smith, RN, CCM, ANP-BC, ND has a Doctorate in Nursing with a specialization in Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Jodi also holds a Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus on Adult and Geriatric NP from the same institution. Dr. Smith obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado Boulder. In terms of additional certifications, they are a Master Trainer in Chronic Disease Self-Management from Stanford University and a Functional Independence Measure (FIM) certified trainer from the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation. Dr. Jodi is also board certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC and holds certification as a Case Manager from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC). In 2017, they attended the Leadership Edge Executive Program at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business.
