Valerie Lee

Valerie Lee has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Valerie currently holds the position of Vice President and Director of Marketing & Communications at Virginia Community Capital, where they oversee the marketing strategies of various organizations within the company. Prior to this, Valerie served as the Director of Marketing at Opportunity Virginia, managing the organization's website, social media accounts, and public relations. Valerie also worked as an Account Executive at LEARFIELD, where they developed sports marketing strategies and facilitated partnerships with clients from different industries. Before that, they were an Account Manager at Uncork-it, responsible for managing agency accounts and executing marketing campaigns. Valerie also gained experience in sales and management roles at Cumulus Media, Freedom First Credit Union, and Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Valerie Lee attended Virginia Tech from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Marketing Management. Additionally, during their time at Virginia Tech, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, with a specialization in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Technology Management, which they completed in 2009.
