Akhil Maheepathi

Akhil Maheepathi has a diverse work experience. Akhil is currently working at Virginia Consulting Group as the Executive Vice President, a role they have held since December 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of External Relations from January to December 2023, and as a Project Leader from February 2022 to January 2023. Before joining the company, Akhil worked as an Analyst at Virginia Consulting Group from September 2021 to February 2022, where they conducted research on the EdTech sector in Africa and played a key role in securing a partnership between Juza Africa and USAID. Akhil also gained experience as a Summer Intern - Engineering at Apcela in 2022, served as the President of Future TechTraders from May 2020 to December 2021, and worked as a Teaching Assistant at Fairfax Collegiate, LLC in the summer of 2019.

Akhil Maheepathi attended Chantilly High School from 2017 to 2021, where they achieved an Advanced Studies Diploma. From 2021 to 2025, they studied at the University of Virginia and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Computer Science.
