Gabe Elias has extensive experience in public safety communications and interoperability, currently serving as the Statewide Interoperability Program Manager at the Virginia Department of Emergency Management since April 2021. Previously, Gabe held the position of ECC Systems Manager at the Charlottesville - UVa - Albemarle County Emergency Communications Center from June 2000 to April 2021, where responsibilities included architecting and managing mission-critical public safety communications and data systems. Gabe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia Tech.
