Wade Bell is a Professor of Biology at Virginia Military Institute with expertise in Microbiology and Cell Biology. Prior to their current position, Bell worked as a Laboratory Manager in viral immunology at the University of Florida, a research technician in influenza research at the Veterans Administration, and an Electronic Warfare Officer specializing in Recon and Special Ops in the United States Air Force. Bell also served as an Aquatic Biologist at the Environmental Protection Agency. Wade holds a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Vermont, M.Ag. in Nematology from the University of Florida, and a B.S. in Entomology from the University of Florida.
