Safia Speer

Safia Speer has been working in the life sciences and healthcare management fields since 2017. In that year, they began as a Summer Intern at Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Safia then joined Yale School of Public Health as a Student Consultant in 2019, and also joined HAVEN Free Clinic as a Quality Improvement Team member. In 2020, Safia became a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Public Health Coordinator at Yale University, and also worked as a Program Assistant Intern at Northeast Business Group on Health. Safia is currently working at Yale New Haven Hospital as a Healthcare Management Practicum, and also at Virgo as a Life Sciences Program Manager - Senior Associate and Program Manager Life Science.

Safia Speer attended Yale University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Safia is currently enrolled in Yale School of Public Health, where they are pursuing a Master of Public Health in Health/Health Care Administration/Management, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
