Molly McGowan has worked in a variety of roles since 1985. Molly began their career as a Stenographer-Clerk at Niagara Mohawk Power Corp (National Grid). In 1998, they became an Independent Sales Director at Mary Kay Inc. In 2004, they joined the US Small Business Administration as a Disaster Assistance Customer Service Representative. In 2009, they became the CEO of Own Your Personal Brand and also authored a professional training and handbook for any corporate or business environment. In 2010, they began working as Manager New Business Development at the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, where they identified and recruited Buffalo Niagara businesses for membership. In 2020, they became the Office Manager at Viridi Parente, Inc.

Molly McGowan obtained a Certificate in Executive Secretarial from Bryant & Stratton College between 1974 and 1975. In November 2013, they completed DISC Certification Training from The DISC Wizard.
