We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Executive with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our dynamic team in London and drive growth in the UK market. You will play a key role in expanding our client base and increasing revenue, supported by our sales teams across Europe. 

This is a fantastic chance to join an innovative company in the rapidly expanding EV charging sector, helping to transform the energy industry towards a cleaner future. The preferred location for this role is London or the South of England.  

What you’ll do 

  

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Prospect qualification, development, and execution of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams
  • Pipeline management, sales process management including effective forecasting and opportunity closure
  • Take ownership and deliver ambitious sales targets

What you’ll bring 

  

You have a proven track record of selling complex solutions and previous sales experience gained within software or service sales (SaaS) organization managing many sales cycles at any one time. You are a result driven self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to engage C-level in strategic discussions. You are solution-oriented and understand value-based selling approach. You like technology and want to acquire a thorough knowledge of the Virta’s products. 

 You also have: 

  

  • Ability to build strong and trusted relationships, manage existing accounts as well as open and close new deals
  • A strong understanding of enterprise and corporate landscape in the UK
  • Experience in utilising Sales Methodologies (i.e. MEDDIC / SPIN)
  • Knowledge of digital sales tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism
  • Expertise in creating comprehensive presentations, business calculations, business proposals and the ability to lead discovery workshops for prospects with modern tools, i.e MS PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMS
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills English.
  • Willingness to travel as required (national and occasional international travel)
  • Experience in EV Charging and EV platform/ understanding of electrical engineering is considered an advantage.
