Britt Volk

Dr. Britt Volk, PhD, RD has a diverse work experience in the fields of medical affairs, clinical research, clinical education, patient engagement, and marketing. Dr. Volk currently holds the position of Director of Medical Affairs at Virta Health since December 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director of Clinical Research and Medical Affairs at Virta Health from October 2021 to January 2024, and as a Clinical Research Scientist from November 2020 to October 2021. Before joining Virta Health, Dr. Volk served as a Clinical Education and Patient Engagement specialist from February 2019 to November 2020. Britt also worked in the field of engagement marketing at Virta Health from October 2017 to February 2019.

Britt Volk, PhD, RD obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Connecticut in 2013. Prior to that, Volk earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Kinesiology from the same institution from 2006 to 2008. In 2002, Volk completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Dietetics, also at the University of Connecticut.
