Alyssa Vigneault has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Alyssa started their career as a Human Rights Intern at the Human Rights Monitoring Institute in 2007, where they conducted research and wrote reports on human rights protection. Alyssa then worked as an Employment Specialist and Volunteer/Intern Coordinator at the Bosnian Community Center for Resource Development Inc from 2010 to 2011.
In 2011, Alyssa took on a role as a Food Service Manager at Compass Group North America for a brief period of time. Alyssa then joined the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program in 2012, initially working as an Employment Counselor before becoming the Coordinator of Interpretation and Translation Services.
From 2012 to 2016, Alyssa worked as a Sales Manager at Courtyard by Marriott, where they focused on sales strategies and building client relationships. During the same period, they also owned and operated their own business, The Spice Traders' Kitchen.
In 2017, Alyssa joined P.F. Chang's China Bistro Inc. as a Senior Manager, overseeing the daily operations and management of the restaurant. Alyssa later served as a General Manager, where they were responsible for various tasks such as staff management, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Alyssa then joined the Chai Pani Restaurant Group in 2019, starting as a Payroll Specialist before moving up to Human Resources Specialist and then Human Resources Manager. In 2022, they took on the role of Human Resources Director, where they were responsible for managing the human resources function for the organization.
Currently, Alyssa works at Virtelle Hospitality, LLC as the Director of People & Culture, starting in 2023. In this role, they oversee the human resources and culture initiatives of the company.
Alyssa Vigneault received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International/Global Studies from Elon University from 2006 to 2010. In 2011, they pursued Continuing Education Correspondence Courses in Conversational Spanish "Moving Towards Fluency" at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Friday Center for Continuing Education. In 2015, they completed a Business Development & Management program at Mercy Connections.
